India's primary market is set for an active week with nine initial public offerings (IPOs) on the horizon, including three major mainboard listings. Premier Energies, a leader in solar technology, is spearheading the action with a ₹2,830.40 crore IPO, combining fresh equity and an offer-for-sale.
ECOS India Mobility & Hospitality follows with a ₹601.2 crore offer-for-sale, while Baazar Style Retail, backed by notable investor Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, completes the trio of mainboard IPOs, though pricing specifics are still pending.
The small and medium enterprise (SME) segment will see six companies launching IPOs. Indian Phosphate starts the week, raising funds for its chemical manufacturing operations. Jay Bee Laminations and Vdeal System will represent the electrical and automation industries, respectively. Meanwhile, Paramatrix Technologies, Aeron Composite, and Archit Nuwood Industries will highlight the tech, materials, and construction sectors, reflecting the wide range of industries entering the public markets.
This week will also witness eight new listings across different exchanges. Interarch Building Products and Orient Technologies will debut on the main bourses, while Forcas Studio, Brace Port Logistics, Ideal Technoplast Industries, and QVC Exports will be listed on the NSE Emerge platform. Additionally, Resourceful Automobile and Rapid Multimodal Logistics will start trading on the BSE SME platform, adding further excitement.
The IPO surge coincides with positive sentiment in the secondary market. Grey market premiums for upcoming listings, including Interarch Building Products and Orient Technologies, indicate strong investor interest.
Overall, the IPOs scheduled for this week are anticipated to collectively raise over ₹4,000 crore, excluding the offer-for-sale portion of Baazar Style Retail's IPO. This highlights the strong demand for new equity offerings in the Indian market, with companies capitalizing on the opportunity to secure capital and provide exits for early investors, while both retail and institutional investors are eager to engage in these new investment opportunities.
